He’s not even Shakespeare’s illiterate brother Rutiger. Yet in spite of some slight repetition and a few proofreading errors that shouldn’t have made it past the editor, I found the entire work to be a most delightful stream of consciousness and I quickly elevated “Up Till Now” to the post of my favorite autobiography. “Up Till Now” is not a work targeted at Trekkies (I count myself as one) and Star Trek doesn’t occupy a great amount of page space, nor should it. The book is precisely what its cover proclaims it to be, and I couldn’t put it down.

If Shatner’s self-description lacks a certain stylized elegance then it more than makes up for it in honesty, and that honesty lends itself to the construction of the man himself. The legendary charm of William Shatner is not in his smirk or his enunciation or bravado, it’s his honesty. He is truthful about his own life, about life in general, his perceptions of the lives of others and most of all he’s truthful about who he is as a person, good and bad. If you’re a Trekkie and want to hear about the supposed Shatner/Takei feud then you won’t see an entire chapter about that, and yet every chapter answers those questions between the lines. He simply is who he is and does what he does, and even if he didn’t exactly say no offense intended I would believe him if he did. Shatner exudes a deeply sympathetic nature that manages to coincide with equally deep masculine traits. He is, in no fewer words, a man’s man (all five foot nine of him).

The book is a jewel case of humorous and touching moments ranging from his childhood to his friendship with Leonard Nimoy to his own family, the bitter and the sweet. Seldom do you read a self-work with absolutely no agenda whatsoever (except for the honest one about selling the book itself), or a man of fame being so brutally honest about himself without the slightest fear of superficiality. Vanity? He confesses it on practically the first page. Ego? Do you know any person that can bow on a stage to thunderous applause that doesn’t have one? Phoniness? Oh, there’s some of that too, as anyone who knows of Shatner’s famous UFO report can attest. Scandal? He might not call scandal the stuff of life but it certainly had a place in his. Then why bother to write a book about such a man? What makes him so interesting besides the obvious fame of a short-lived series from the 60’s? Kirk, Hooker, Crane: what’s the big deal?

I’ll answer that from a very personal perspective, and although a primer in Jewish culture (explaining both the no-frills honesty and a deep love for food) would be handy it’s not necessary. William Shatner is every bit interesting enough as a human being … literally a human being … to make an autobiography not just a good read but something akin to a life skills reference work. He has been, in short, the hardest working man in show business that I know of.

Work. That is William Shatner’s mantra, and reading his autobiography you begin to share his experience of self-realization and it’s wonderful. From the time he slept in the camper of his pickup truck without a home to the day he purchased a horse ranch in Kentucky, Shatner’s life has been defined by work. His resume in theater alone reaches back so far that it becomes unwieldy, and his fame from Star Trek speaks for itself in a marketing cacophony. “Work makes work”, Shatner quotes his own father, and they both were right. It’s ironic that his first album was called “The Transformed Man” because this latest work captures what may be the greatest transformation in his long, laudable life. Reading along with him as he slowly applies his ethic of work to his relationships, and then his joy at the experienced rewards, makes the book priceless.

So many years of make-up, of memorizing lines, of being on time in faraway and sometimes dangerous places, and never saying no to a job sums up Shatner’s literal life work. He used to believe that his job as an actor summed up his own being, and “Up Till Now” invites you into his life as the man himself is transformed. Failed marriages and distant children and betrayed associates have healed and grown into wholesome and enviable relationships. On his website www.shatnervision.com you can watch video interviews conducted by a grown daughter that walks along with parts of the book word for word, but the love seen and heard in the interview makes it intimately touching. This is truly the reward of the transformed man.

And amidst all the stunt accidents and on-the-set gossip and exciting aspects of his personal life like race cars and Angie Dickinson, it’s unclear if Shatner sees this transformation in himself, or if he understands it. As he always has he’s simply living it, and living it well. His transformation has made the smirking, womanizing egoist so many writers have badgered on about into a charming, self-effacing husband and father and grandfather. Bitter co-workers and other detractors would do well to read the book to see for themselves how not-personal any perceived affront must have been. If he hogged the camera or stole lines or fought for a part it was for the sake of work; he could do something and he could do it well, so why shouldn’t he do it as much as he could? When a former co-worker walks up after decades have passed and confesses that they despised him, his reaction is always surprise (at least until they explain their grievances). While Shatner has what I call genuine class even this doesn’t explain his courtesy around mockers and hateful people. Rather, it’s an indication of a very simple man, a good man, a man who means no harm but who just never picked up the knack of compromising who he is and what he does.

Is this an ass-kissing session on my part as a writer? Perhaps. I absolutely loved the character of Captain Kirk and his mannerisms. But that was a fictional creation in a low-budget space drama that only ran 3 seasons. Falling in love with William Shatner – his lack of any guile, his boundless enthusiasm for life, his unflappable honesty in all things – is what makes “Up Till Now” a great book and a terrific reading experience. And this simple life wisdom, delivered directly and without shaving the truth for either his own benefit or anyone else’s, makes it a priceless education, not just in the industry of acting but in the drama of life itself. And if you don’t believe me, ask him about his program involving horses…or read the book.

Swinger's Flu Update

David Kessler, former commissioner of the FDA, states categorically that you cannot get it from food but that it is spread via respiratory droplets (the transcript of the CNN interview can be found here: (http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0904/28/ltm.01.html)

Wikipedia states in their banner article on Svine Flu that "The meat of the animal poses no threat of transmitting the virus when properly cooked." A pandemic is when things get so bad that you eat your neighbor and the cops let you off with a warning, even though your neighbor was a cop. So let’s have a look at svine flu and give it a fair shake. Here are some things you didn’t know, things that might go over big in various media niches but which do not present themselves well to a mass audience.

First, illegal immigrants did it. And Canada (I knew it!). The first case of the modern pandemic we’re experiencing now according to the World Health Organization was reported in Alberta, Canada and associated with a farm worker recently returned from Mexico. Basically it was the butler in the study with the pipe wrench. This is great. Zeus could have downed Air France 447 with a thunderbolt for all we know, and yet someone in government is competent enough to discover that the death flu was started by Alonzo in Alberta.

Secondly, having just today declared that our current dose of svine flu is indeed an epidemic, Dr. Margaret Chan Fung Fu-Chun of the WHO comes again into the spotlight. Ah-ha! What may surprise you…along with the fact that the space shuttle causes earthquakes…is that she recently served as the representative to the Director-General of Pandemic Influenza, so it does indeed look like it’s all been planned. But how bad is it?

Basically we’ve had about 26,000 cases but only 4 deaths…all from suicide from watching CNN’s Svine Flu Christmas Special. The flu is easily transmittable from pig to pig but is unlikely to jump from pig to human except with prolonged exposure as with a svine farm worker or an animal rights activist living in Washington State. It has been known to jump more easily from human to pig, and once between a hedgehog and an iris, but these are rare cases indeed.

What we’re not being told is the truth. The biggest victims in this are farmers themselves of any ilk (not just the pig-guys), since no one wants to shake their ruddy hands anymore. But this is just wrong because it’s not their fault, it’s yours. The number one cause of svine flu transmission is not Mexicans or Dr. Chan or even Nancy Pelosi (I think). What about chowing down on undercooked pork? The experts say "no" (but are careful not to include the term "handling"). I for one always pass the plate when it comes stacked high with rubbery undercooked bacon, except in those rare moments that require a bacon double cheeseburger from Wendy’s. And there you have it.

People can generally be relied upon to actually cook a pig down to a consumable state but what about restaurants and fast food chains and breakfast cafés? Ah yes, the tasteless jokes I could crack are legion but the truth is actually a bit frightening. We know what it is and we know it’s spreading, but WHO’s systems might benefit from a focus on social tracking and progression as much as their laboratory analysis. We must know WHO is eating wHaT and whY…while there’s still time.

Do you want to protect yourself from svine flue? Go Kosher! Because after all, people have always been the biggest pigs.

The Bad Death of Dr. Tiller

by S. Nor would I presume to know the moral, spiritual or technical implications of mid-term, late-term, finals week or summer school abortions. Not my snow forte.

We should start simply: killing is wrong…unless you really, really want to. For instance, I have this neighbor – shelve that for the moment. If you’re a catch-and-release household bug trapper then you understand at least somewhat the miracle of life. If you squash them and move on you have a tidy home and the benefit of being passed over every malaria season. Both have merit, and my only contribution is to be as wise as serpents and as harmless as doves; ready to kill yet reticent to kill.

Some salient facts. Dr. Dead had been wearing a flak jacket since 1998, on advice from the federal government, which tells me there’s a man committed to his work. What that work is I don’t know since when he was shot he was performing his duties as an usher in a Lutheran church, but it’s doubtful this issue renders down to simply bad ushing.

Also, the suspect was almost immediately arrested…and what’s worse is he’s from Merriam, Kansas. “You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.” Obi Wan said about Merriam. I’m a strict constitutionalist at heart, to a fault, and hold our founding principles at a lofty height just below Mad Magazine and the Bible, so Scott Roeder (no, not from Metallica) must be innocent until proven guilty. But actually, he did it and everyone knows it, case closed.

And, Dr. Tiller’s clinic was one of three in the U.S. that non-subversively focused on late-term abortions. This procedure is described as taking place in the third trimester and is only allowed by law under certain circumstances such as rape, incest or if DNA testing indicates the baby is going to be Eric Cartman. It’s icky like all other procedures in the medical world, and yes sometimes they drill holes in babies heads. Quite frankly, I don’t see the difference between this procedure and putting your 10 year old on Ritalin and sending him to public school (except for the timing), but I’ll debate that with my manicurist. I must also report that the late Dr. Tiller was shot in the head. I make no assertions of poetic justice or divine intervention, I only say that it was good murder scene choreography.

Which brings me to my final point in fact…and if I had a modicum of honesty I’d end here and stop pretending I have one…this must be between the doctor and the woman. Yes, any and all feti deserve a fair shot and an even break….like the rest of us got? (snicker) So there’s undoubtedly life there, but it is MOM’S life to deal with, period. How do I know? It’s still plugged in. So, technically you could even say it’s an extension of mom about to have an out-of-the-mommy experience. But that’s just silly.

3.) Under no circumstances do we want the justices of the United States Supreme Court groping around in this issue. Why not? They’re hands are too old and in most cases, on a personal level, the justices will be thinking of great grandchildren they’ll never have to support and not real people in-becoming.

As for Roeder, well he shot a guy. If his name was Tyrone Jefferson and he’d murdered Qung Ho at the Kwikie Mart this case would be over in record time. And it should be. Process this guy and get him out of here, and warm up Old Sparky. Cold-blooded murder for a cause is right alongside exploiting cold-blooded murder for a cause so I want closure, credits and that creepy music they play on C.S.I. Societal disruption on any level over this issue is unacceptable, especially for a bunch of Lutherans. Both Roeder and Tiller hung out their respective shingles, walked their talk and reaped what they sowed. And as for Tiller I say he had a yard of guts but it was his brains that got him in trouble.

Lookit, my wife hides her tampons and dental floss (but not in the same place, thank G-d). Females can be a very private people and if you don’t want to spend the rest of your life in the bathroom with the water running and someone knocking and saying “Timmy, what are you doing in there?” then you better respect that privacy. Another human’s anatomy gets personal and no matter what you might think you think, you don’t want to go there.

This greatly simplifies the issue. In real life guys have no vote on this, so politically it should be the same and I for one don’t mind being let off the hook. So half of these screaming idiots on both sides are gone immediately, and apparently the armed/dangerous/armored half. Then get the courts and politicians out of there, which is just….eww. Next, firehose all the protesters. This serves no practical purpose and will almost certainly exacerbate the situation, but it would be a shame to pass up the opportunity when they’re all gathered in one place.

What’s left? A doctor and a patient. The patient may or may not be pregnant with what may or may not be your child (you may pay for all expenses, however because if you didn’t actually get her knocked up then you were at least thinking about it). There may be extenuating circumstances, there may not. Preachy doctors can be fired and fussy patients can be referred, and women tend to get what they need and are experts at knowing what they need. I know, I made the mistake of asking once. Once.

If Rush Limbaugh doesn’t want people to know where he got his Oxycontin then he should take his microphone out from where it doesn’t belong. And if Tiller didn’t want his brains all over the pews then he should have kept a lower profile, right or wrong. And let’s all just leave the ladies alone on this one. A man’s been killed and it wasn’t necessary. Another faces the death sentence. Sun Tse taught me never to enter a battle you’ve already lost, and as a man I decide…in the immortal words of Chesty Puller…to attack in a different direction instead of retreat.

If I’m going to protect someone, to throw my ring in the hat for the best contestant, to pour heart and soul into an issue and believe in it with the power to die for it (without actually having to, hopefully), then the choice is simple.

It’s not a woman’s right to choose. It’s her right to follow her heart after she knows. And that mystical perception, that ever-trustworthy instinct for life, is exactly what we enslaved them for in the first place, guys. Let’s not muck it up now by interfering and feasting once again on the media fast food already being ordered over the dead bodies of our brothers who each thought they were protecting their sisters.

A Prayer for the Prez-elect

My wife and I said a heartfelt prayer for the incoming president-elect, a prayer for wisdom and blessing on him and our nation. I have no excuse for having a serious constitutional question arise and knowing nothing about it. But Congress did officially slash the Fed SOS's salary to allow her to slip in, even w/o a paycut from the Senate (although I thought it was the Senate's pay level that mattered...anyway, my bad.) So, she's....good...to go, ahem. The slip-in-fix story is here: http://www.domainb.com/people/in_the_news/20081212_hillary_clinton.html
Interestingly, Congress itself as a body chose to obey the Constitution rather than confront it, even though the "Saxbe Fix" is questionable at best and WORTHY OF A CHALLENGE, ahem again. But I digress into fantasy, thinking we have allies.
It is, however, possible that Congress must act on what it KNOWS. Withhold information and they can plead ignorance, which the majority of them would probably admit to aforethought. So if Congress doesn't know about any possible inconsistencies, and can plead that Senator Obama's record itself speaks for its own authenticity (which is what is happening as long as vital records are sealed), then they remain legally blameless. Blamelessness is something they would look to, as a body, the same way they looked to the Hillary question.
Dumb, but not stupid. Or is it the other way around?

Law Professor Dreisdach "Admits" Obama Ineligible

(taken from: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2008/12/03/clintons-confirmation-spark-constitutional-battle/. Don't say "speculators", because this is my speculation and I don't have an answer yet.

#7 - My Hamburger Tastes Like Shit. And WHY won't anyone snap a few pics of the cowfarm where diseased animals become Big Macs? Which leads me to...

#6 - Whole Foods Still Make Me Feel Shitty. A baking chicken from the grocery store is five bucks, six if they cook it for you. Chicken nuggets are about two. But an organic, free range chicken that's never known poverty is about twelve something. I'll state for the record that they have less body fat and grease and keep longer in the fridge. They're smaller, but so is your wallet after you buy it. The entire "investigative" reporting staff of CNN has NOTHING WHATSOEVER TO DO now that CEO Obama is lord of the land, so why hasn't one of these losers invaded these chicken's privacy? I want to see the condo this chicken lives in, whether he drives a hybrid or takes public transport, how green his 401K is. If his politics checks out he still needs to be one charming fucking chicken, to quote Samuel L. Jackson from "Pulp Fiction". Twelve bucks?!?!

#5 - Why is the Movie Business So Still. Or, the alternate title, how can Hollywood simultaneously stuff the balls of every American male in its mouth and still pretend to work? This sucks so bad. Now they've got Keanueeauaeau doing global warping remakes of The Day the Industry Stood Still...and SUCKING!

#4 - The Sudden and Instantenous Explosion of High-Seas Commercial Piracy. It's China.

# 3 - "Ain't You Dead Yet, Mister?". The death of the mainstream media, crumbling like Rome, and why we need a federal bail-in to hasten the demise of disentigrating newspapers, newscasts and anything else that says "news" and ain't. About a 93.6% tax bracket aughta do it. Why not? Is it the guarantor of the 1st amendment? Is it the noble voice of the people? Does it reflect you, your opinions and what you stand for and, most importantly, is its very purpose to find and tell the truth? Well.....NO. Fuck 'em, let 'em die. You want the voice of the people engaging in free speech per the 2nd amendment, then look to the internet at this time. THAT'S where common law protections should be most in force, instead they're bickering about how to tax it. The web is a cacophony, a blathering ear-batterer, but it's free and should stay that way. As for your local paper....even the parrot won't shit on it anymore.

.... I told you I didn't care how many there were.

Uhh...what's changed?

So we're in a depression and I have to wait in line once each day for my allotment of rat-turd soup. Mmm'kay.
But aside from that, what's changed in the last 3 months?
My credit card still works, and it's not perfect, so the big crunch must be a little pink and moist in the center, as opposed to biting a big, crunchy, salty nut (which cracks all the way through).
Banks are supposedly lending, although in spite of a Faux News lawsuit they still won't tell us to who. And those stupid signs for buying a house quick and slimy are still on the intersection corners, so there must be some room to manuever (everyone knew that was a scam anyway, where you signed on cheap and then ballooned into total torture 2-5 years later...today is the torture part).
But something has changed. The economic damsel sent out all the "don't tread on me" signals and the party ended, but what's changed, exactly?
Succinctly, consumption's changed. It's down, to be precise. A lot. And it's down because some fag started screaming all over the 4th estate that we'll all be cannibals in 6 weeks. Maybe the worst is yet to come and they're just being nice and letting us prep up, but it still spells "B.S." in any grammar class.
When you turn the ignition key in your automobile, big things happen. Fuel is pumped, air is ignited, people die from global laming. But it's such a deceptively small act, just a flick of the wrist, and BOOM (ad infinitum)! Someone may have down that with consumption. I know that some folks from the corporate/banking level on down are saying they are hoarding cash, and we're a little frugal here on the homestead ourselves, so that mattress-stuffing may be a factor as well. But I got eyes, I can look at the street on Christmas Eve, and people are doing less shopping and that means consumption is down, and it doesn't feel like it's going to suddenly spike after the holidays either. If your car ignition is a knob that's labeled "consume" and the car was the economy, then you telling the car not to consume equals turning the damned thing off. It sputters, but makes one wonder why the choice would be made to turn something off with the flick of a switch, even though big things happen under the hood somewhere.
What's next, war with Pakistan?

Hands Down...The BEST

Every word of this ladies article is golden ... http://www.newswithviews.com/Devvy/kidd420.htm

Assholes!

I stand up for our constitution and I'm called a racist republican cowfucker. Most of them can be found here, give or take:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Obama
Most telling of all, however, is my discovery that Obama is actually Tuvok from Star Trek:Voyager, and that weighs heavily on my mind:
http://allotherpersons.files.wordpress.com/2008/06/barack-tuvok-11.jpg
Anyone that wants to play catch-up on our current constitutional crisis can simply go to www.worldnetdaily.com where you'll find no lack of Obamformation. But let's get something out of the way early. Yes, I admit it, my tinfoil hat is situated squarely upon my head and I allege a conspiracy of vast implications...a conspiracy of CYA, cover yo' ace! Obama wouldn't spend $800,000 in legal fees if he didn't have to, whether it's his money or not, in dealing with these lawsuits as they continue to spring up across the land. He won't provide real information from his birth record for very good reason as he KNOWS he's potentially unqualified for the office. Others know it too, and have for a long time. An attorney in the firm whose partner served on the finance committee for Obama while a senator wrote ... and how WND found this is probably the only real journalism that occurred during and after this election ... that the natural-born citizen provision of the U.S. Constitution is stupid and gay (paraphrasing): http://worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=82680
That was two years ago.
Then he ran for president. Hillary knew about this and instead of addressing the constitutional challenge publicly she saved her ace in the hole and got secretary of state for keeping her mouth shut. She knew the courts, if asked, might very well rule him unqualified. He knows it too. Hell, everybody knows including all the "conservative" pundits out there who have garnered my ire for their silence. And that's the conspiracy of CYA: they've known all along but the issue was masterfully presented in such a way that social chaos is being held over our heads as blackmail if any established voices bring it up. In the campaign, fine. Now, disaster of Cecil B. DeMille proportions.
I figured this out when I realized there were no rules for how presidential electors do their job. Oh sure, there's a few laws on the State's books about how local public officials do this or that, but the provisions in the Constitution are left unexplored and have not been expanded upon hardly at all in federal or common (court case) law. There's basically nothing out there by way of a rule book to play by.
The same goes for the natural-born citizen clause.
Knowing this - that the whole issue of who can be president is tabla rasa - Obama and his people pursued it anyway in a direct constitutional confrontation, yet approached in such a way that cities would burn if the issue is even publicly or, G-d forbid, legally addressed.
(by the way, I don't entirely blame the potential burners here. I'd be pissed too.)
By the time this issue rolled around it was too late. And you know it sideswiped all the pundits because they touched on it, figured it out, read the writing on the wall and then ran like hell. Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Hannity....all of them. These are not dumb men, and they know when they've been beat.
They know the natural-born citizen clause has never been explored.
They found out too late that the unthinkable was true, that Obama may not meet the traditional and assumed (but not adjudicated) requirements. Now the Constitution is being defined by the people, and I'm not sure how to feel about that. Over 50 million Americans, and pretty much everyone else in the world, wants Obama to be president and they don't care what the old parchment says about it. The old parchment itself wasn't crystal clear and the courts have barely touched it in two hundred some odd years. Obama knew this, took his shot, timed it right and made it work. Masterful. He is after all, a former professor of constitutional law. Is it even realistic to assume he's not aware of these facts, that he would risk his place in history in a wild gambit if he weren't absolutely sure he had the GOP by the balls?
He did it. He pulled off one of the greatest political coups in history by simply awaiting his moment. He waited, the fruit ripened, it fell from the tree. It is ALMOST too late to have this decided by the courts, lest chaos tear the nation apart.
Tomorrow is December 5th and all other theories of aliens landing on Dec. 7th and Obama zipping into space on board the Voyager notwithstanding, the Supreme Court will do something. Maybe not much except to remand the case back down to a lower court, although that is unlikely given the Supreme Courts exclusive jurisdiction over constitutional matters. It becomes their sole responsibility to define what that document says but I honestly don't know if I want them to take up the case or not.
If they do and all is well (meaning Obama is president-elect) then the old parchment has been redefined outside of the courts, and that's bad not to mention sneaky and distasteful (however effective). If they do and toss him to the wolves then there'll be hell to pay and I don't want to pay it.
Yes, it is indeed a conspiracy. But it's one of such boldness and craft that it leaves one in awe.

Talk About Ahead of the Game

Fux News reported Obama's passport information as "sealed" after some contractors improperly accessed personal information....back in March.
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,342011,00.html

And can anyone tell me what Error Code 500 is in the fox news search bar?

ALWAYS Look On the Bright Side

We are, in spite of a financial meltdown and constitutional crisis, about to enjoy the true spirit of Thanksgiving by giving up our gratitude for all we have. I celebrated in my soul and out to see so much of America united to make history - it's what we do, right? - but I got over that in about a day. Now on to real business.

The question has arisen, and cannot be ignored, as to whether Barack Hussein Obama II is eligible to be president of the United States. I do not know the answer, but I am coming to know the question quite intimately.

"No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President;"
- Article II, Section 1, U.S. Constitution

This question should be easily answered, but has not been. This should never have even become a question and a lot of people want to pretend it still isn't. The Obama team can easily release the actual COLB (certificate of live birth), or a relative of his could do the same, but they haven't. Celebrated talk show pundits of the so-called conservative ilk have gone dumb and mute. Fox ran for high ground, Hannity touched it and got burned, Limbaugh completely dismisses it saying "There's nothing there", and that last is interesting because how can he know if the document is sealed?

The issue was first raised by the Hillary campaign and was voiced on the Daily Kos web site. That web site was the venue used by the Obama campaign to release the document currently online, and was also posted on http://www.fightthesmears.com/. Israel Insider, however, did a 9-part expose on this whole issue last summer and the claims made were astounding. http://web.israelinsider.com/Articles/Politics/12932.htm They include the identity of the man who posted Obama's COLB from Hawai'i, the man's subsequent posting of a blank Hawai'i COLB that matched exactly to the Obama COLB, and statements from a Homeland Security forensics document expert who denounced the Obama COLB as a shabby fraud. I myself verified that a blank Hawai'i COLB and Obama's shared an exact blemish, as well as a delivery date and city of birth.

So Obama "releases" his COLB and his campaign derides anyone who questions further as a member of the tinfoil hat crowd, crying foul. Then he's elected.

A few facts here, because this issue gets more obfuscated by the day.

Obama is not president.

Obama is not president-elect.

On December 15th, the electors in every State will convene and officially cast their elector votes then delivering the results to Washington, signed, sealed and certified. Upon receipt, Obama becomes president-elect. Upon inauguration he becomes President Barack Hussein Obama II.

It is also a fact that Hawai'i law does not allow anyone to waltz in and get a copy of your birth certificate, as well they shouldn't, so it's a misnomer to claim that Obama's COLB is "sealed". It isn't, anymore than your own COLB is sealed. It is simply personal and private and should be protected. With Obama, however, the argument can and has been legally made that said record is now a matter of national history and no longer private. This argument, made by one Andy Martin who filed suit in Hawai'i subsequently tossed, was not addressed and his case was instead dismissed for lack of standing. Andy Martin has no right to see another man's birth certificate: http://www.honoluluadvertiser.com/article/20081121/NEWS20/811210355/1001/localnewsfront

But beginning before the Nov. 4th election these suits have been mounting, numbering now 12 in various States. Andy Martin's out, as are a few others, but three remain of vital interest. Keyes in California, Donofrio in New Jersey and Berg at the Supreme Court level. A pretty good rundown of all of them minus Keyes' can be found here: http://worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=80928. It won't take long to get up to speed, because most of these are being tossed out, probably reasonably, for lack of standing. And for other verification reasons here are the names of some of the plaintiffs and their contact information:

HI) Andy Martin at email: AndyMart20@aol.com
(WA) Steve Marquis email: peoplesvoice@peoplespassions.org ; website: www.peoplespassion.org
(CA) David Archbold email darchbo1@gmail.com
(GA) Tom Terry email: kingdommatters@gmail.com
(PA) Philip Berg email: philjberg@obamacrimes.com ; website: www.obamacrimes.com
(NY) Dan Smith email: Dansmith1954@aol.com
(CT) Cort Wrotnowski email: Metaqubit@aol.com

Philip Berg's approach is interesting and has gained the most ground, although Keyes is grabbing the most attention and rightly so given his political status and his use of the word "usurper" in his briefs. Mr. Berg is currently before the Supreme Court and the latest from the horse's mouth can be found here: http://origin.www.supremecourtus.gov/docket/08-570.htm. On the right fringe of the net they're already saying that Souter has issued a writ of certiorari (which I don't know if he has, only that Berg has requested one before final judgment) and that Obama must cough up his COLB by December 1st. Obama and his team are to respond on December 1st, or perhaps Souter will only rule on the requested writ on December 1st, again I don't know for sure. But the case is pending and action will happen on 12/01/08 a good two weeks before the electors meet and make Obama president-elect.

It's an emotional issue, and reasonable and rational thought should win the day. Be very careful about believing what you read and check your sources for extrapolation by interested parties. What I've put down here are the facts as I know them, but there are a host of other things to find out. Did Obama enroll in school under the name Barry Soetoro? Does his mother meet the Citizenship requirements? Was he actually born in Hawai'i or was the COLB issued post-birth, as is possible if unlikely? And who exactly knows what in this case? It's already been called a "constitutional crisis" and I believe it may well be, and at the worst time too, economically speaking. Further investigation supercedes passion and belief and is moving right up into the realm of duty at this point.

Now and in the future I'll try hard to segregate my opinions and guesses from the actual facts in this case, and will keep posting developments as they occur. But for now, another great roundup information article is here: http://www.rightsidenews.com/200811222725/editorial/the-great-birth-certificate-scandal-cover-up-of-the-2008-election.html

Piracy Continues

Another one. This in addition to the still growing number of commercial vessels being seized in Somali waters, a trend which has skyrocketed of late with numbers that continue to mount even this month.
No, this is another American, killed on his own sailboat.
Venezuela, again.
Pirates armed with firearms, again.
Pirates using quick little power boats that zip out from the coast, again.
Apparently, Hugo's Thuggi police force still wants to be able to sell oil and promote tourism, so the cops are actually making it look like they're doing something. There were at least 2 pirate vessels this time, and another passenger on board the sailboat was wounded.
I don't want to return to the era of colonialism or "white supremacy" that the Europeans started...when they're not lecturing the U.S. on racism, that is. But I do want my people protected when away from our shores, and this isn't happening. Diplomatic pressure brought to bear on behalf of individual American Citizens is almost non-existent, and what's worse is we still face incarceration and prosecution for daring to arm and defend ourselves.
No word yet on whether they will prosecute Kenneth Dale Peters, 55, posthumously for shooting and wounding one of the pirates during the attack.
The last similar attack in these waters was against a French tourist on Sept. 15. He too was killed, indicating that possibly this isn't just "poor fisherman suffering from global warming and fished-out waters" trying to steal outboard motors. The U.S. Embassey is mum and the press has released few other details.
It's a shame, too. I don’t particularly care for the man, given what little I know about him. I certainly don’t cotton to the indications of Marxist leanings and Bill Ayers and ACORN and Jeremiah Wrong and all the rest. I have nothing in common with him politically that I know of…until today. He is now my president-elect and it’s a good day.

Now I, being me, of course cheated. I couldn’t find a candidate that I liked and respected enough to vote for in good conscience. I’ve never thought McCain an actual conservative. Like everyone else I respected his war record and could cast no real aspersions on his character. I even liked the fact that he seemed like a fusspot, reminding me of my dear departed dog Mojo. I absolutely loved it when, at the beginning of the election season, some kid on some college campus asked him if he was concerned about living long enough to finish his term. McCain, in his typical style which was remarkably absent in most of this season, looked him in the eye with a smile and said, "Thanks for the question, you little jerk." Classic. Priceless. But in spite of all that, he wasn’t my guy and couldn’t be for the simple fact that I didn’t have the heart to put that poor broken-down old man in the White House. I still can’t fathom why he would sign up for this kind of abuse anyway. The man lives in constant pain from wounds gathered in service to America. I think and have always thought that he should be put out to pasture and live his remaining days in peace.

So who did I vote for? Oh, I’m sure they’re lining up to hear the answer to that! The short answer is Alan Keyes, a black conservative (hence my cheating; I can now always claim with a straight face that I voted to put a black man in the Oval Office) who some years ago lost a senate race against Obama. I know enough about Keyes to like him, perhaps even begin to trust him as much as his profession allows, which is like asking the IRS to balance your checkbook. But the Libertarian candidate, Barr, is former CIA. Okay, he’s out. Ron Paul dropped out and gave his endorsement to the Constitution Party candidate, some baptist preacher/talk show goof out of Florida. Then there’s Nader, the psychological disaster equivalent to McCain’s physical disaster. And of course a sprinkling of commies and greenies and some guy named Jon Bon Jovi or Steinbeck or….no, it was David Jon Sponheim! I liked him because his platform sounded intelligent and in appearance he reminded me of the sexual deviant portrayed on Super Troopers. But in the end it was Alan Keyes so that I could commence my little charade and, in a rare fit of farsightedness, enjoy this victory with my brothers and sisters.

And that’s what my good mood is all about. There are a lot of happy people out there today, November 5, 2008. If McCain had won then there’d be a whole different set of happy people out there, but I don’t think they’d have been as happy as the ones celebrating this Wednesday. I made a special point to go have breakfast and take a quick look at the world at large, white and black, and see what we as Americans have wrought. I came away satisfied.

A number of black kids seemed to have skipped school, and that’s just fine. Walking on sidewalks, mulling around parking lots, shopping for tools in Home Depot, have breakfast at T.J.’s in Grandview…all that I saw pleased me mightily. Blacks are the masculine of America in a way that white, hippie, so-called "male" liberals are the feminine. They’re happy at this moment without shame, and I wanted to not only see it and experience it, I wanted to be a part of it. While shopping for a drill this morning if I’d had the opportunity to find the black guy who shouted "Obama!" into the echoing chamber of Home Depot I’d have given him a high five. Not because I want to be a part of a sub-culture that I now hope will merge with mainstream America and finally join us as the brothers and sisters so many of us have always wanted. Not because I want to hop on the Obama bandwagon or fool anyone about my vote. My reason is very simple and very selfish: happiness is a commodity always in short supply in this life. When you’re wife is in a great mood for some reason, maybe even a little friskie, do you go out of your way to piss her off and ruin Christmas for everyone? Hell, no! You ride the wave and enjoy the moment. Capitalize on her joy. It’s free and she’ll share it with you. The same sentiment is out there today. If I’d high-fived that brother and he then asked me if I voted for Obama, I would have answered honestly and said "no". But I’m sure that would not have detracted from either my joy or his.

I don’t care much for the term "400 years of oppression". I’ve always thought it a bit of a deception to equate black slavery with the Jewish cause and history, a skew intended to weld legitimate suffering to Biblical philosophy. Well, you take what you can get I suppose, but it still makes me cringe when I hear it. I certainly don’t like the sub/counter-culture that has prospered so much in American society, full of black bitterness, racism, hate and deliberate disenfranchisement. I find it dangerous, unstable, ungrateful and more than a little rude. I think we’ve ALL experienced discrimination at some point. If you’re white then just go to Gates BBQ and order the quiche. If you’re a gentile then go to a Jewish funeral and take them all out for a BLT afterwards. If you’re a Jew then go anywhere and do anything, you get the picture. But anything I’ve experienced has always been incidental and I’ve always been able to walk out of or away from it. Not so in black culture.

Forget all the conservative lectures about opportunity and equal rights and $7 trillion in welfare spending on the great society. What matters is the very real feelings and attitudes of these people. As the American masculine they are, arguably of course as all my points are, built for suffering. Much like myself as man and husband. It’s just what we men are engineered for. We’re even happier that way, faced with challenges and obstacles and burdens to bear. We even tend to get soft and complacent and self-destructive without it. Black Americans have carried their own burdens, real and otherwise (irrelevant at this moment) for a long, long time. Those fire hoses and police dogs were real, and many people still alive remember those moments vividly and in person.

We have as a country done something historic and incredible. I don’t think that reason alone was enough to do it, but some people out there thought it was time and they seem to be right. I hope they are, and will enjoy this moment and this joy nonetheless. There are smiles now where I saw none before. They’ll fade, of course, but today they are smiling and I’m smiling with them. 400 years of oppression, my ass…but regardless, it’s over. There is nothing more whatsoever we can do to "level the playing field" or "enforce fairness". This is quite literally as good as it gets, and it’s not bad. A black man has been elected President of the United States of America and something very special has been proven to the world, something I’d like to refer to as American Exceptionalism. That term is used often by Rush Limbaugh but on this day he just doesn’t get it. Even now at the time of this writing he’s out there rabble rousing and trying to continue the fighting with talk of opportunities for conservatism. We don’t need him, countrymen – we have the Constitution, and that document as framed by our fathers is all the protection against tyranny we’ll ever need. It was designed to prohibit government and if we know our stuff and protect it and use it, it will always serve us well.

And besides, I’m tired of fighting, and I’m damn well tired of fighting my own people. I saw a lot of celebrating brothers and sisters out there last night, but not one of them was singing Karl Marx’s theme song or carrying pictures of Mao Tse Tung. They sang the Star Spangled Banner and America the Beautiful, and they meant it in a way not heard all that frequently anymore. It was indeed music to my ears. Rejoice, America. If for no other reason then rejoice that we’ve done all we can to alleviate the suffering of our own people, to salve the consciences of those who mourn the past. Rejoice that we’ve proven who we are and what we’re made of. The price may be high indeed since I don’t know what President Obama is going to do or how well or poorly his administration will perform. But right now I am on board with this magical feeling and I’m ecstatic about it. It is liberating in the extreme to be a part of this, no matter how small my part. We had an election free of violence, the people spoke, the system worked and great things we’re done. Not all wrongs were righted and black Americans have some hard lessons to learn, not the least of which is the betrayal that our political process promises to ALL. Have we as conservatives not been betrayed, utterly? No one I know wanted McCain until he was the only choice. Many more on the other side wanted Hillary. Black folks wanted Obama, and they got him with help from those who love them enough to sacrifice for the sake of the past.

But I’m a conspiracy theorist at heart. The president is a prisoner of the Secret Service, not their charge. A group of men who all know each other and measure their wealth in the trillions do NOT give the nuclear football to just one man and hope he doesn’t go insane. Obama will betray, the law of principalities and powers commands it, but for now he has my blessing and all my hopes. I would, however, caution all of us to keep a very watchful eye on Vice-President elect Joe Biden. He’s no architect but if something wicked this way comes he will be the conduit. But for now, a long night has passed and the sun is shining and many, many black Americans have been given a much needed rest and reprieve. Talk a bow, brothers and sisters, you’ve earned it. I am as happy for you, more so, than I would have been had McCain won. Your joy just warms my heart. I welcome you with open arms, finally, into our shared culture and I know you'll make us proud. As for President Bush, I've always believed he's gotten a bad wrap. I "hired" him for one reason and one reason only: payback. On 9-11 America was grievously hurt. I wanted him to go get the bad guys and he did. He went to Iraq and Afghanistan and piled our enemies up like cordwood. And although we may live to regret it, his policies helped hone our military into a finely-tuned weapon the likes of which the world has never seen. If I'm big enough not to bitterly hate President Obama, then I hope that the millions of girlish hippies out there will back off a step from their rancor at President Bush. It's over, and I for one will not be a sore loser. Don't tempt me by being an insufferable winner. But again, I'm simply going to enjoy my day.

Late last night I was looking for something. This was before my attitude changed and I felt the hunger but couldn’t name it. I looked on the news, where I sensed I’d find it, and there it was: an elderly black woman with tears of joy streaming down her face. It brought tears to my eyes too. It was worth it, America. I have no doubt the price will be high for a clean conscience, but it’s worth it.

addendum: As for Rush Limbaugh, I NEVER forget a betrayal. He it is - and I'm a listener, mind you! - he it is who has forgotten what it is to be an American. He it is who has abandoned American Exceptionalism. He it is who now won't take his own advice and be happy in spite of cirumstances. He it is who now embraces the politics of destruction and division, in spite of his previous pontificating. He and most of the Republican establishment has betrayed us much like the mainstream media...yes, including Fox! Hell, especially Fox. Which is more dangerous: a terrorist in another country who wants to poison you or the next door neighbor who puts ground up glass in your food? They claimed to be friends and compatriots and they knew, they KNEW McCain was unelectable and they chose him anyway, especially the "GOP kingmaker" Limbaugh. Never, ever, EVER forget, America. Conservatives have a snake in their bossom and need to take a sledge hammer to it. And on a more specific note, Limbaugh for WEEKS has been making Freudian slips about Obama, speaking as if he were already elected. I don't need a psychology degree or a book on pantomimes to detect a lie. I knew it when he was letting his little blurbs slip. He knew in advance the election could not be won and continued with the charade anyway. Everyone in this election was betrayed, except the supporters of Obama. And as much as I enjoy their happiness now I will rue the day when they wake up and find that the system they spent so much effort to brake in to has always planned on betraying them, just as it has been betraying whites for many generations. But for now, commence au festival!

The One Question

The one question that no one has asked presidential hopeful Barak Hussy Adama is....
where were you born?
I'd like to hear that asked by a reporter, since it woudl be truly embarassing if the secret service guy processing the next president's application caught it and reported it to H.R. Ummm... change what? What's so bad that an entire campaign for the land's highest office can be run on passion, bitterness and glam? What exactly does Obama plan to change? What does he plan to change it to? How is he going to change whatever it is that's so awful with the country that has treated him so well?

Right at this moment, Charles Barkley is on CNN telling the world that anyone who's a racist is an idiot and describing the "Bradley Effect" which I understand is saying you'll vote for a black candidate on camera but then (horror of horrors) not voting for that black candidate in the privacy of the booth. I wish just one social psychologist worth his or her salt would do the fundamental and empirical research and finally prove conclusively that ALL human beings everywhere and at all points of history possess some degree of racism. I firmly believe this to be true...but that's because I'm a racist.

The news is out, barely: Obama has leanings towards Marxist philosophy. Wow. Stop the press. What amazes me is the number of Americans who don't seem to care. I'm as angry at the rural conservative who is too lazy to register to vote as I am at the urban hippie who cast his vote for Obama from the first pigmentation. They're equally guilty because one did nothing while traitors broadcast their intentions to change our system of government and the other proceeded to do so with declared malice aforethought. I mean, this shit ain't funny no more. Obama's 2001 radio interview had some choice words about the Constitution. THE U.S. CONSTITUTION!!! But aside from what is so g-ddammed bad about the United States that it needs revolutionary change I have some other questions.

What will you do without your freedom?
You're free to bitch, piss and moan all day long in every medium. You're free to harass people minding their own business if they don't agree with you politically, or if you think they don't agree with you politically. You're even free to collect the reward of your efforts in the way of handouts, bailouts and welfare of all kinds via the socialist programs already in place. But if the hippie gets his way, the very freedom he has used to "change the system" will be taken away and replaced with totalitarianism. And what, pray tell, will the hippie do then? Not only will he have lost the freedom he took for granted, but ironically his worst nightmare will then come true. You see, his worst nightmare is not living in the current U.S. of A. which kisses his ass so very much. His worst nightmare, and mine too actually, is to have ultra-right wing totalitarianists in charge of his life. Once the hippie gets done trashing the Constitution and naming wastewater treatment plants after a sitting president, once all those personal freedoms and government restrictions have been removed, the crap of society will still continue to rise to the top. Goose-stepping nazis who have to date been kept in check by the system of government the hippie hates so much will weasel their way to power and with a freehand will make us all very, very miserable. THAT is truly the just desserts of the hated hippie...but even I don't wish it upon him (and I damn well don't wish it on myself). The hippie will be unable to arm himself, unable to use his own financial resources, unable to travel and escape and unable to speak his mind. Without freedom he will be lost, shackled, gagged, impotent and defenseless. What, pray tell, will the hippie do then, without freedom?

We have been warned. It has been broadcast. This is part and parcel of the elitist revolution that's going on and has been for years. They tell us what they're doing and right now they're putting the Bill of Rights up for a fucking vote! They're asking us if they want them to take it all away and give us another system of government, one that has proven unsuccessful innumerable times in the past. After all, socialism worked out great for Germany pre-WWII, yes? China's just a beautiful field of flowers where the children laugh and play, right? In England right now you can't take a left or a shit without someone catching it on camera, to the point where more and more Brits are packing it in and heading to the colonies...again! And we're making it happen. Forget the fact that ACORN has already rigged the election, forget the fact that John McCain was NEVER a viable candidate and was rammed down the throats of honest conservatives, forget the fact riots will break out on November 5th no matter what the bloody outcome. What matters is that we've been given a choice, our own rope to hang ourselves with, so that the powers that be can wipe their hands clean and say we did it to ourselves.

People tend to get what they want. In fact, a chief of police once told me that people even get the kind of policing that they want. I believed him then and I still do. And unfortunately, according to the polls and the pundits, we are qued up to get precisely what we're asking for: a socialist president with Marxist tendencies bent on establishing a new form of government.

G-d help us. And G-d save the Republic.

P.S. - A brand new kupie doll goes to any one of my two readers (and growing! ahem...) who can correctly state why I now refer to the democrap v.p. dandydate as Lyndon B. Biden.

The Passing of Mojo

He was brave, he was strong. He was a great dog!
Mojo, short for Missouri Joseph Mugs and named after my home state, my favorite Bible character (after Yeshua, of course) and my first dog, Mugsy, who was also Mojo's grandfather, has passed from this world. In a world of heart and hardship where I believe people always come first, I still make time to honor my old friend who was, hands down, the finest dog I ever knew. In his day he sired at least 3 litters of Boxer puppies (and who knows what else got spawned in his travels) and was utterly devoted to every member of my family and could move from household to household with relative ease. In his waning years this ease become less easy, earning him the name of Sir Fussalot, but he was tough as old shoeleather and all he wanted in the last few years of his life was to be near the people that he loved.
He was a good dog, and an old dog, and I loved him very much.
I'll add more to this later. This entire episode breaks my heart in pieces but in the interest of mental and emotional health it must be done without hiding inside a bottle or living in denial. I will even make a special entry dedicated to the actual moments of his passing, and while this might not be for the faint of heart or stomach it's also necessary. My dogs have always been like children to me, my Boxer children who continue in a proud tradition, and I greatly appreciate all my friends who reached out when he died. You know me well, and I'll always endeavor to put people first as G-d would will it.
Hard sometimes, though, because this dog had character which believe it or not taught me a lot. He was my good friend, and he fought til the very end.
